Low Cost – Inexpensive, Fun Date Ideas

Low Cost – Inexpensive, Fun Date Ideas

We’ve all been there, wanting to date but prefer a low cost, within-the-budget type of activities. For various reasons.

The ‘low cost’ here means anything under $50.

Here are ten (10) low cost, inexpensive, fun date ideas any couples can enjoy together:

1. Hiking

Hiking can be expensive when you’re after a vigorous walk as you may need a pair of proper hiking shoes that are not cheap. But if you don’t have any hiking shoes, any leisure walk in the countryside would do, as long as you both can talk and enjoy the fresh air. Bring a camera (or a phone that has a camera) to capture anything that may interest you.

2. Bike Riding

Not only is it healthy, but exploring areas you’re not familiar with also gives a nice adventurous feeling. To make it a little predictable (in case you have to do something else that day), try to google search the bike trails in your town so you can predict how long the trip takes from start to finish.

3. Exploring Night Markets

Not only is it vibrant, but night markets are also full of exciting, and often new, food trucks. Time to have fun without breaking the wallet.

4. Having a Picnic

Unlike exploring night markets where you may end up having to stand up to eat as it may be too crowded, having a picnic allows you both to sit, even lay down watching the clouds for as long as you want.

5. Photography

If you both like photography, it’s perfect. And if it’s only one of you who like photography, the other one should try experimenting being a model.

6. Flying a Kite

It may be just ‘flying a kite’ but once you do fly one, you’re likely to find joy watching the kite in the sky.

7. Visiting a Museum

Go to the free or low-priced museum. Not only getting enriched, but you both have something interesting to talk about.

8. Going to the Beach

Sunbathing and swimming are the most popular activities, but you can always bring your own beach tent just to chill, like reading books together, playing a board game, having a drink, and just enjoying your surroundings.

9. Watching Sunset

This is one of the most romantic activities a couple can do together: watching the sunset.

10. Having a Bonfire

This can be done while you’re also having a picnic, but it’s done in the night, with a bonfire. Most people find joy just to sit down, talk, have a drink, and watch a bonfire.
